PowerPoint presentations Tutorials Created By Mr. Lynch:

PowerPointUse1- (122K) This is the simplest of the simple.  If you've never used PowerPoint before in your life, begin here.  This presentation covers how to open up PowerPoint and how to create slides.

PowerPointUse2- (95K) This presentation builds on the basics by showing the viewer how to add clip-art into a presentation.

PowerPointUse3- (57K) This next presentation in the series introduces the methods to add color into a presentation.  You can manipulate the text, background, and even the color of hyperlinks following these steps.

PowerPointUse4- (91K) After simple colors comes more complex colors.  In PowerPoint, that means templates.  This presentation covers the beginner's method to adding a background template into your PowerPoint.

PowerPointUse5- (158K ) Time for special effects!  Ever wonder how to keep kids interested and not fall asleep while presenting a lesson?  This tutorial covers having text fly into place, slides dissolving, and a few other nifty tricks.

PowerPointUse6- (158K ) Now we can add in sounds and movie clips.  This really can add to a lesson.  Imagine talking about the plains of Africa and having "The Lion King" music playing in the background.  It doesn't get any more African than that!

PowerPointUse7- (82K ) During your lesson, you may feel it's necessary to have students view a webpage or a movie online.  This tutorial will show you how to add external links to your lesson.

PowerPointUse8- (62.5K ) By now you may be wondering how to add non-clip-art pictures into your presentation.  Maybe you saw a cool picture of a dolphin online...how do you get that same picture in your presentation?  This tutorial will guide you.

PowerPointUse9- (623K) Screenshots are pictures of your computer screen.  I've been using them in just about every tutorial here.  How did I get them to show up in a PowerPoint presentation?  Covers PCs and Macs.

PowerPointUse10- (125K ) How can I point out things on my presentation?  This presentation shows you how to draw circles and arrows in your presentation so you can point out objects more clearly.
