Industrialization 3DC Thesis Statements

 

Chen: The Industrial Revolution was a time when manufacturing was switched from handwork to machines. It obviously changed the United States for good and bad. Some people benefit from it and some didn’t. It greatly improves life but it also harms the environment and many people can’t get things sold and make money for them.

 

Mercedes: Inventions are definitely integral to Industrialization and they’re constantly changing the United States for better and for worse. In addition, technology changed society in the early 1900’s in a very similar way that technology and Communication Revolution are changing society today in the early 2000’s. There were both Americans and other American-residents who did and who didn’t benefit from this massive revolution, such as owners (who benefit) and children (who didn’t).

 

David: Industrialization in the United States brought one of the greatest changes, both good and bad. Many new inventions were created such as the steam engine, the reaper, the telephone, and the cotton gin. These inventions made people’s lives much easier and work was done much more quickly and more efficiently. It also made the United States one of the richest and most powerful country in the world. However, there are also negative sides to the inventions. Different kinds of people benefited from the Industrialization while others did not. One group of people that benefited was newly arrived immigrants because the inventions allowed many people to be hired. Some people that did not benefit were the workers and the children because of low pays and poor working conditions.

 

Ruth: During the early 1900’s, there were inventions that integral to Industrialization and it changed the United States by benefiting some people. This is also similar to the early 1900’s and it is changing today’s society in the early 2000’s.

 

Diana: An industrialization of the United States was then technology took over and made things easier to do than doing it by hand, it was a big improvement for the economy of America. However, the industrial revolution changed the world entirely for better and for worse. It changed the lives of people in the 1900's. The New inventions made life easier for those who had to work extremely hard to make money as well as created a crisis in society at the turn of the century. It created a crisis because suddenly everyone in the whole world was able to manufacture and make profits. The people who benefited were the country and the new coming immigrants. Those who did not benefit are the old laborers who could not adapt to the new industries. Therefore, overall the industrial revolution was a big change with both good and bad things it was the beginning of a beautiful rich country.

 

Wendy: Many inventions are integral to Industrialization in United States. Some inventions helped benefited groups such as the Cotton Gin and Textile, and some inventions did not such as the Steam Engine and the Reaper. Overall, in the early 1900’s in a similar way technology and Communication Revolution are changing our society, even in the early 2000’s. The industrialization evolves for the better AND for the worst. In any of these cases, it did and did no benefit the users.

 

Mary: Without a doubt, inventions that are integral to industrialization are mainly what changed the United States for better and for worse, while many people benefited for it and there were many people who didn’t benefit from it, and the technology changed the society in the early 1900’s is similar to the technology and communication revolution that is changing society today in the early 2000’s.

 

Alvin: Some inventions are integral to industrialization, to change the United States to a better and a worse place. Inventions like weapons and bomb changed United States worse, machines made life easier for people.

 

Jack: Undoubtedly, many inventions originated during the early 1900’s were significant to Industrialization, for it benefited and yet ruined the economical balance among the employers of America. Through this age, workers were forced to work in cities despite of being overcrowded and suffering through long hours of labor. On the other hand, other workers decided to use their skills towards their advantage of creating new inventions with the use of fossil fuel and other materials. In spite of all the pain that America went through, they gave us this successful life we live today. This is the improved future of what once people had to endure suffering daily, were we face a similar experience today on the Communication Revolution.

 

Andy: Starting in the early 19th century the United States underwent an industrial revolution. The work that many people did change, as they moved from farms to small workshops into large city factories. There were inventions that help made lives easier and finish jobs faster creating more profit, but there happen to be pros and cons for this revolution change in the life of Americans. As time passes into our modern world, technologies became more advance and powerful, where the United States grows into the revolution of communication.
